EQUALITY - MORE THAN JUST A WORD


Equality is not just a word. It is a way of life. We are all equal. Equality means zero place for discrimination, where everybody is treated with dignity and respect. Where gender bias, sexual bias, racial bias, intellectual bias and all other forms of discrimination no longer exists.

So why is it that so many businesses are still dragging their heels when it comes to change and the elimination of unfairness in the workplace? Is it to protect the minority of a few? Is it for fear of an uprising? What? Why? Or both? What is it about human nature that allows corruption to seep in without being challenged or eradicated. The answers lie within the hands of those in power. However, as we see time and time again, never underestimate the power of a unified team who wants to change the world to be a better place for all. A place where we are all given equal opportunities because we are all equal.

Whatever the reason for the resistance to change, tough. Change is inevitable because change is the only constant in our world. And change in the workplace is essential if we are going to build a sustainable and fair future for us all.

It is the only way forward.
